Hardened & Tempered Steel Strip

We can produce this material to the highest quality and manufactured to meet the most demanding specifications of our customers.

With Hardened & Tempered Spring Steel, it can go into many applications springs, tools, blades as an example and much more. The Hardening & Tempering process is a two phase heat hardening treatment. The first step is called "Quenching" this involves heating the steel strip in our state of the art furnace’s to temperatures above 800°C, before entering either our water quench or lead quench furance line. This is a critical transformation in temperature for our steel strip material, this becomes extremely hard but also very brittle. The additional process is called "Tempering" this is where the steel strip is heated again to a lower temperature then the previous furance, but this gives it the right tempering for our customers specific VPN hardness levels they require.
