Ben Bennett Jr. Ltd has manufactured steel strip since 1883, when Ben Bennett first went into business in Rotherham. Six generations of the Bennett family have worked in the company since, and it remains family-owned and run today.
Certified to EN ISO 9001, covering slitting, edge dressing, hardening & tempering, and annealing. Every order is inspected and tested to your requirements, with certificates supplied to British Standards. Minimum order quantity from 10kg.

Hardened & Tempered Steel Strip
High carbon spring steel (CS70, CS80, CS95), hardened and tempered on our own lines to VPN hardness levels from 380 to 650. Gauges 0.10mm–2.00mm, widths up to 240mm.

Cold Rolled High Carbon Steel Strip
CS70, CS80 and CS95 grades in annealed, hard cold-rolled or pre-hardened condition, plus CS75 carbon annealed strip. Slit to your requirement, test certificates to British Standards.

A wide range of stainless grades, gauge 0.10mm–2.0mm, width up to 457.2mm, sheared or dressed round edges. Also available as a sub-contract slitting, edge dressing or rolling service.

Cold Rolled Mild Steel Strip
CS1 to CS4 mild steel, annealed through to extra hard rolled, hardness up to 210+ VPN. Also available case hardened or with zinc, tin, nickel or chromium surface coatings.
